How I work
The process
The same five steps whether I am staging a listing, styling a home you are staying in, or working with you remotely.
-
01
Listen First
I start with the people, not the room. How do you use the space? What is not working, and what is? How do you want to feel in it? We cover must-haves, non-negotiables, budget and constraints, so the plan meets both the space and the people where they are.
-
02
Set A Clear Direction
The conversation becomes something you can see: inspiration imagery, mood boards, quick concept mock-ups, then increasingly specific visuals that use the actual furniture, finishes and lighting being recommended. You see where the design is heading before you commit to much.
-
03
Make The Decisions Real
Inspiration turns into selections. Furniture, finishes, lighting, drapery, paint, flooring, hardware, decor, product links and layouts, all kept realistic against budget, function, timelines and the way you actually live.
-
04
Communicate Often
Frequent check-ins, visual references, mock-ups, comparisons, product imagery and clear sourcing links. The point is to close the gap between what is in your head and what eventually gets built.

05
Implement
You can carry out the plan yourself or I can get more hands-on. My staging background means I am comfortable solving problems in the room itself: installing, adjusting, styling and making the finished space work.
You implement, or I help implement. Either way, I am accessible throughout the process.
